Switch recently graduated from high school, but before becoming a full-time college student he decided to search for a job in which he could both make use of his abilities as well as finding lots of opportunity to collect interesting data.
He secured a job as cashier at the up-and-coming restaurant Trattoria Cavallone, and it provided him with the chance to observe customers and co-workers for data as well as do his part to organize the restaurant income figures.

Public: Switch is a computer prodigy who uses a highly realistic voice software to speak in place of his real voice.
Special: By night, Switch is also part of a private investigation and support agency comprised of his old school friends, which is where he utilizes much of the data he collects. His refusal to speak normally has to do with the trauma brought by his younger brother's death four years ago.
